The Happy Valley Report: Wednesday February 28
Four standout selections and four to avoid across the nine race card tonight at Happy Valley.
Have a look at the first two races to determine if the track is playing true then on this basis these are our selections. Interestingly the track at Happy Valley last Wednesday night played true to it’s historical pattern as opposed to the previous four meetings as mentioned in our Form Pointers article yesterday. Check if the times for the first two races are around a second slower than standard (URL below has the standard times) and if this is the case beware of a potential bias.

Happy Valley Best Bets
R3 #6 Beauty Destiny
The TechTeam were surprised that this maiden performer is still in class 4 given his impressive track work especially indicated in a recent barrier trial. With the two speedsters Super Axiom and Kowloon east Star cutting at each other up front he is well placed to close strongly from his inside draw.
R5 #5 Raging Blizzard
Drawn to get a sweet run from barrier 3 behind the leader Superb Capitalist.
R6 #2 Super Joy N Fun
The TechTeam loved his first start win where he battled on very strongly to win.
R8 #8 Denfield
This fellow is drawn to sit behind the likely leader in One For All. The addition of senior jockey Zac Purton boosts his chances.
Avoid at the Odds
R1 #'s 1,6,7
These three horses are seriously out of form, namely #1 Classic Archi, #6 Vincy and #7 Circuit Elite, we recommend leaving them out of all multiples.
R5 #6 Wings Of War
Drawn to get posted from the outside barrier.
